Girls' Basketball Players Recognized on All-Conference Teams
The Ranney girls' basketball season was a successful one, and continues to be recognized as players earn individual honors on All-Conference teams. Haley Poser '25 was named Second Team All-Conference by Shore Sports Network and Third Team All-Shore Conference by app.com, while Ashley Kreiger '27 was selected to the All-Freshman Team by Shore Sports Network.
Haley Poser, captain of the Ranney girls basketball team, hit the 1,000 point milestone as a junior on Feb. 3 against Lower Cape May. She scored a career-high 37 points vs Pt Boro on Jan. 30 and also had 4 rebounds 3 blocks 2 steals 1 assist and 4 three-pointers that night. Haley averaged 17.6 ppg this season. The sky's the limit as Haley looks toward her senior year with all players returning to a Ranney team that finished the 23-24 season 15-11 and advanced for the first time in school history to the NJSIAA Non Public B South semifinals.
Kreiger averaged 11.76 PPG and 11 RPG in her freshman season. During the postseason she scored double-digits in every game and scored a career-high 24 points against Holy Cross Prep in the opening round of the state tournament. Kreiger’s height caused mismatches all season with her ability to score from the post and shoot the jump shot.
