Lower School Faculty Sponsors Pinwheel Place Garden to Raise Awareness

In observance of Child Abuse Prevention Month in April, Lower School faculty members donated money to sponsor a Pinwheel Garden at the front of the Lower School. The teachers wanted to support this local New Jersey Crisis Nursery founded and run by Ranney's own Lynn Hawkins.

Pinwheel Place strengthens families by caring for their children, connecting them to resources and providing basic needs and was recently recognized by the Borough of Tinton Falls.
 
The "Pinwheels for Prevention" campaign invites partners to sponsor a pinwheel garden either home or at a business as a reminder that all children deserve a loving and nurturing childhood. All proceeds go to Pinwheel Place, which provides free emergency and respite childcare to families in need.

The donation of $50.00 provides 10 pinwheels and a sign that shares support for kids in the community.
