Jacob Egol Accepted as a 4th Chair into CJMEA Region II Orchestra

Jacob Egol, Class of 2019, was accepted as a 4th chair into Central Jersey Music Educators Association Region II High School Orchestra on cello.
 
The auditions took place on Saturday, December 9th at J.P. Stevens High School in Edison, NJ. Region II is arguably the most competitive one of all three NJMEA regions and Jacob placing 4th among 16 accepted and 45 cellists auditioning, is a very notable accomplishment. 
 
Jacob performed his excerpts from Bach Second Suite in d minor for Solo Cello, with the highest level of musicianship, outstanding intonation and beautiful tone. He will be performing with the CJMEA Region II High School Orchestra on January 7th at 3 PM in Monroe Township High School.
