Jr. Tri-M Inductions Held; Service Hours Honored

The Middle School held its annual Jr. Tri-M® Music Honor Society Induction Ceremony on May 19, 2016. Led by Chapter Officers Jatin Nayyar, Kathryn Peardon and Aidan Smires, along with advisor Mrs. Lillianne P. Torrente, the following students were inducted into the society:

Ranney’s Jr. Tri-M Chapter, #4410, won the 2014-15 Chapter of the Year. The society aims to cultivate musical sensitivity and perception while inspiring youth to strive to higher goals through music and service. In fact, this year’s chapter logged more than 513 hours of service to chapter operations, events and service projects – the equivalent of approximately 73 additional school days. The following members were recognized with Tri-M Outstanding Service Awards for contributing more than 25 individual hours: Annabella Andiorio, Isabella Andiorio, Olivia Batista, Lara Chu, Priscilla Emma, Myron Kharkover, Jatin Nayyar, Kathryn Peardon and Elena Raccuia.
