Big Wins for Varsity Girls’ Tennis and Field Hockey

On Friday, October 10th, the Varsity Girls’ Tennis team captured its third straight Shore Conference “B Central” Division Championship after a win over Point Pleasant Beach High School. The Varsity Girls’ Field Hockey team advanced to the Shore Conference Tournament after defeating Henry Hudson 3-1 on Senior Day. Despite a tough loss to Long Branch High School in the first round on Saturday, October 18th, the team drew the #4 seed in the NJISAA Prep B Tournament and took on Princeton Day School on Wednesday, October 22nd. Senior Alexandra Natsis (Fair Haven) scored on a penalty shot in overtime making the final score 1-0. The team will now advance to the semifinals on Wednesday, October 29, against Morristown-Beard School (away) at 2:00 p.m. Read a recap of the big wins on the athletic blog. Go Panthers!
