Behind the Scenes: Alice in Wonderland Jr.

The talented students of the Lower School proudly present Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland Jr.” directed by Lower School Music and Chorus Teacher Mrs. Lisa Geene and 3rd Grade Teacher Mrs. Connie Congemi. Based on the 1951 Disney film with music and lyrical additions from David Simpatico and Bryan Louiselle, the Broadway Junior version is entertaining for all ages. Join Alice’s (Caroline Casucci ’20) madcap adventures in the Wonderland as she chases the White Rabbit (Ana Krikorian ’20), races the Dodo Bird (David Kazak ’20), gets tied up with the Tweedles (Alexis Karlin ’20 and Olivia Knoop ’20), raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar(Maria Natsis ’20) and beats the Queen of Hearts (Marisa Riebesell ’20) at her own game.

This beloved tale of a young girl’s extravagant dream and the characters she meets along the way features updated dialogue and new arrangements of classic Disney tunes, such as “I’m Late,” “The Un-birthday Song” and “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.” For an enjoyable family evening of music and laughter, join Ranney’s Lower School for an unforgettable performance.
